Snowy Morning - Recess and Poetry

Yes, we began our day on Friday with recess. How could I resist the excitement generated by the falling snow? I read the poem, The Laughing Boy, and we headed outside. After a 10 minute recess, we stopped and stood in silence and observed the beauty of the snow. Then, we returned to the rom and used crypts to illustrate the poem.
