STEM Science Technology Engineering Math

On Friday morning, we worked on a STEM challenge. Design and fabricate an aluminum foil boat using a 5" x 6" piece of foil that will float and hold 20 pennies. The children were very thoughtful in their approaches to this design challenge.  They went through a number of redesigns as boats sunk under the weight of additional pennies.
